Adult social care assurance
We use a range of qualitative and quantitative information to provide assurance to stakeholders that we are meeting our statutory duties relating to adult social care. These include:
- performance and outcomes
- quality of practice and provision
- strategic risk management
- feedback from stakeholders
- audit and independent assessment
- equalities, including of access, experience and outcome
This work informs our:
- quarterly reporting to the council including via our Corporate Performance Framework
- readiness for inspection, assessment, and regulation by the Care Quality Commission
- involvement in sector-led Improvement including formal peer reviews
- annual reporting to the Council and the public
