Devon County Council oversees admissions to the following types of schools:
- Devon Local Authority maintained schools.
- Devon academies.
- Devon free schools.
Other school types are included in the list such as independent special schools in Devon and schools across the Devon county border. The latter are the responsibility of other local authorities and a link has been added for the relevant authority for schools out of the Devon area.
