Why are we doing this?
Citizens often come to us when they are in crisis or need support unavailable elsewhere. They want to be really listened to and understood when they interact with the services that exist to support them, and get them back in to balance.
We have clearly seen from recent examples that the cost of organisations not listening and understanding, and not doing what really matters to our citizens can be extreme.
Connecting with our citizens
Although we have measures for our performance, we need to make sure that we are really connected to the experiences of our citizens; and understand what life feels like for people in Devon right now.
