Apprenticeships prepare you for the world of work or advance your skills in your current job. They are paid employment, providing on-the-job learning alongside accredited training, real-world industry experience and can supercharge your career options.
Apprenticeships are available from intermediate to master’s levels in a wide range of sectors.
Who can become an apprentice?
You can become an apprentice if you are:
- aged 16 or over (there’s no upper age limit)
- living in England
- not in full-time education

How long will it take?
Apprenticeships take one to five years to complete depending on their level.
