The Devon Wallet is a user-friendly solution that enables individuals to manage their short break funding in a secure online environment, giving them full control of the funding they are allocated and the support they receive.
Parents and carers will have an online account to manage their budget and they will search for and book all their support in one place. They will approve invoices and the payment is taken care of for them.
The benefits for providers
The benefits for providers include:
- guaranteed payment
- efficient auto invoicing and self-billing
- easy setup process
- no cost
- simple catalogue management
- payment for services within seven days
The Devon Wallet offers the opportunity to ensure that your services are visible to individuals within the same easy-to-use, online solution that manages their short break funding.
In addition to ensuring your services are visible to an ever-increasing number of individuals, Devon Wallet reduces the administration associated with providing services to families as all bookings and invoices are managed digitally within the individual’s account.
As the Devon Wallet holds cleared funds on behalf of the individual, payment is guaranteed, and invoices are typically paid within 72 hours of approval.
The registration process
The Devon Wallet support team will send a Devon Wallet registration request by email.
You will need to provide an overview of the services you offer. You will also need to enter details of the bank account you would like any payments to be made into.
The Devon Wallet support team will review your form and create your Devon Wallet account.
You will be sent a username and password by email – this will enable you to log into the Devon Wallet and manage all elements of your account, including product listings, pricing, and responding to requests from individuals.
You are then live on the marketplace, meaning individuals can view your listings and book with you directly using Devon Wallet. You can choose to be available just to your family or all families.
