Latest Update: Colleges, schools and childcare settings during the national lockdown
Funded childcare
All 3 and 4-year-olds and some 2-year-olds are entitled to a certain amount of free early education and childcare.
30 hours free childcare
From September 2017, for eligible 3 and 4-year-old children, the government is extending the free early education and childcare entitlement from 15 to 30 hours per week.
Free childcare for 2-year-olds (Golden Tickets)
A Golden Ticket allows you to access free childcare for your 2-year-old, if eligible
Free childcare for 3 and 4-year-olds
From the term after their third birthday, until they start school, your child is entitled to up to 570 hours of free childcare
