We are listening
Devon’s Local Offer is about providing clear, up-to-date information on the services and support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We want to help children, young people and their families to work with us in making decisions to develop the services and support we provide for them.
We need your help to make sure that the information we provide is easy to find and understand. Our Local Offer is always being developed and this is your opportunity to let us know what you think of what we have done so far, what we’ve missed or what we could do better.
We are looking for feedback on the content of the ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ pages – do you think we are missing any important information? Look at the pages and tell us what you think.
We will publish any comments we receive regarding the content of this site and explain how we have acted on them.

Your feedback so far...
We receive feedback through the Local Offer website’s ‘feedback’ button, through Facebook, through Twitter and at events around Devon. We have published some comments and our responses below.
Feedback on EHCPs
Every time an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) is issued, we ask parents for feedback about the process.

How to complain about services
To start with, you should always try and solve any problems directly with the provider, whether this is a school, social care or health service, or private company. If you don’t feel confident doing this by yourself you can ask the Devon Independent Advice & Support for SEND service (DIAS) for help and support. If it is not possible to solve the problem in this way you may need to submit an official complaint.
If your complaint is related to the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process, please visit the EHCP pages of this website for information about complaints, appeals and mediation.
If you have a complaint about mental health services, including CAMHS, you can contact Virgin Care.
To complain about Devon County Council services, please contact the Customer Relations Team.
