Exeter Airport With easy access via the M5, Exeter International Airport is conveniently located to serve the new developments at Exeter Science Park and Skypark. Currently transporting over 700,000 passengers each year to over 40 destinations in 20 countries – including Paris, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf. A 3 times daily connection will also soon be available to London City Airport.


Exeter, at the heart of the county is  just 2 hours from London, and there are regular and fast rail links to major UK cities. Services depart from mainline stations including Exeter, Honiton, Newton Abbot, Tiverton, Totnes and Plymouth.


M5Our road network provides ready access across the county, with longer journeys made easier by main arterial roads including the M5, A30 and A38 Devon Expressway. Average journey times from Exeter to London Heathrow or Birmingham are under 3 hours.

By December 2015 the new South Devon Link Road will improve access to Torbay and South Devon providing faster journey times.


Plymouth offers the shortest ferry route to western France and the Iberian Peninsula via Spain, with regular services provided by Brittany Ferries. The port supports a wide range of roll on-roll off operations and is equipped with purpose-built facilities for freight and passengers.

Superfast Broadband

Most of our urban areas and market towns already enjoy fast and reliable broadband, and with £94m being invested as part of the Connecting Devon and Somerset project, superfast broadband is being rolled out across rural areas too.
