Taking the train in Devon
There are regular local train services linking many parts of Devon, with some superb scenic journeys.
The Riviera Line links Exeter, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Torbay, with excellent views of the Exe and Teign Estuaries and out to sea. The Tarka Line runs from Barnstaple to Exeter, while the Avocet Line links Exmouth and Exeter and the Tamar Valley Line runs from Plymouth to Bere Alston and Gunnislake.
