Could you be an apprentice?

IMG_3724-tidied-moved-inMeet Our Apprentices

On 2 September 2013, Learn Devon welcomed five apprentices to the service.

Issie, Jolie, Gerri, Ruby and Beth (pictured right) are based at various Learn Devon centres in Devon – Bideford, Exmouth, Exeter, Totnes and Tavistock.

These apprentices are all studying a Customer Service Apprenticeship whilst working in the centres, supporting Learn Devon and its work.  They currently help centre staff to provide customer service and administrative support.

The apprentices learn via a new approach where part of the programme is studied via e-learning. This enables more flexibility for the apprentice and employer whilst also reducing the amount of travel.

We’re very proud of our apprentices and look forward to supporting them and helping them provide a high quality service to our learners across Devon.

The apprentices were welcomed to the service by Nicholas Child (senior manager – learning and resources), Steve Roberts (curriculum officer – culture) and Vicky Thomas (programme coordinator – apprenticeships and business)
