Make an animation film

Who is this course for?

If you have been inspired by films such as ‘Chicken Run’ and ‘The Wrong Trousers’ this course is for you. This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning how to work with stop motion animation software. Complete beginners are welcome.

Course content

You will be taught a range of stop motion animation techniques in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment. You will be encouraged to make your own animated film.

Support and feedback

Your tutor will be supporting you throughout the workshop. They will work with you to check on how you are doing and agree what you need to do to achieve the results that you want.

Additional costs and requirements

There are no entry requirements and you do not need to bring anything as all materials will be supplied.

You may be eligible for a learner bursary if you can demonstrate that attending a course will improve your wellbeing. Eligibility is determined after a short interview with a member of our learning support team. You must be aged 19 or over on 31st August 2019 and your household income below £15,276 to access this fund. Contact your local centre for more details.”

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?


About the tutor

Chloe moved to Exeter from London this year. Here she combines teaching workshops and continuing with her own art practice.
