Overnight road closures at M5 Junction 29

Road users are advised that the A30 westbound carriageway will be closed from Daisymount Junction to Moor Lane for several nights next week, as part of Devon County Council’s M5 Junction 29 improvement scheme.
In conjunction with this the Junction 29 northbound off slip, M5 southbound off slip and M5 southbound on slip will be closed.
The A30 Daisymount Junction westbound on slip, Airport Junction westbound on slip and Blackhorse westbound on slip will also be closed.
The closures will be in place between 8pm and 6am from Monday (1 October) to Friday 5 October to enable contractor South West Highways Ltd to safely carry out resurfacing and other work at the junction.
The diversion for A30 traffic will be from Daisymount Junction via B3180, Half Way Inn, A3052, A376, Sandygate roundabout, Moto Roundabout, Moor Lane to Moor Lane Roundabout.
Traffic wishing to go west on the Airport or Blackhorse slip roads will be diverted to Daisymount to follow the diversion towards Moor Lane Roundabout.
For M5 northbound traffic wishing to take the Junction 29 off-slip for the A30, there will be advisory signage prior to Junction 30 to exit at Junction 30 and follow the west diversion from Sandygate Roundabout, Moto Roundabout, Moor Lane to Moor Lane Roundabout.
M5 northbound traffic which misses the advisory signage prior to Junction 30, will have to continue to Junction 28 and return southbound to Junction 30, take the southbound off-slip and follow the diversion from Sandygate Roundabout, Moto Roundabout, Moor Lane, to Moor Lane Roundabout.
M5 southbound traffic will follow the diversion to Junction 30, Sandygate Roundabout, Moto Roundabout, Moor Lane to Moor Lane Roundabout.
There will be access through the works in an emergency for emergency services only and this will be supervised.
