We are recruiting Support Workers within our Extra Care Supported Living Service, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism, Dementia and physical health needs.  The aim of the job role would be to work as part of the wider team promoting the individual’s independence, and maintaining and promoting life skills, as well as supporting their health and wellbeing. You will be resilient with a positive outlook and upbeat approach to supporting people. You will be a great planner, organiser and motivator to support individuals with access to achieve an outcome focussed support plan. You will be a great role model and be able to connect through great communication and drive towards accessing the community. Applicants with experience of Autism, complex needs and Mental Health needs is preferred. Previous experience of supporting people in supported living or domiciliary type support would be an advantage.

Hours: Various

You will be entitled to a night rate enhancement of £2.00 per waking working hour between the hours of 10pm & 8am. Sleep in duties maybe including in this role and are paid at £67.50 based on a 9 hour sleep.  This is a 24 hour, 365 days per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires, including mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends.
