Licences and applications
How do I apply for a licence to place items on the road?
You can apply for a licence to place materials or equipment on the road here. You will also need this licence if your work involves:
- building or repairing a boundary wall
- carrying out tree works
- using a cherry picker
- using traffic lights or other traffic management.
How do I report cars that are parked dangerously or illegally?
You can request parking enforcement using our online service. We do not offer a callout response service but requests will be used by local managers when planning future patrols.
You can also report regular instances of pavement parking online.
