Annual trade permits and short-stay books are also available to frequent users, but you need to register and be pre-approved before you can buy these online.
Annual trade permits cost £45, are valid for a year, and allow all-day use of resident-only spaces and limited waiting bays, or combinations of both. They are not valid for use on any yellow lines or in restricted or pedestrianised zones.
An annual trade permit can also be used by landlords, estate or letting agents to allow access to properties they own or represent for viewings, inventory or supervising maintenance only, but should not be used within a one-mile radius of the address for which it was issued.
Short-stay permit books cost £60 and contain 20 permits with each permit being valid for up to three hours. These permits allow the use of pay and display spaces in addition to those stated above. You can use additional permits if you need to extend the period of parking time.
