The Smokefree Devon Alliance recently completed its self-assessment for the CLeaR framework, and on 19th March 2013 held a workshop attended by key alliance members and a team of peer assessors. The purpose was to examine the results of the self-assessment and identify areas for development. Initial feedback from the day was extremely positive. The final report and recommendations are here. CLeaR provides an excellent framework for continuing strong action on tobacco control as public health moves into the local authority.
The Smokefree Devon Alliance is pleased to announce it has won a CLeaR Award for Excellence in Tobacco Control for its work with Children’s Centres.
