Stover Country Park, owned by Devon County Council is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Local Nature Reserve.

The Park contains 114 acres of woodland, lake and marsh, heathland, grassland and a substantial variety of wildlife. It is also designated as a dragonfly hotspot by the British Dragonfly Society.

The Park features an Interpretation Centre which is situated near the entrance of the park and consists of a visitor centre, classroom, rangers’ office and public toilets (open 8 am to 5 pm).

Additional recreation resources include interpretation boards, an aerial walkway, a bird hide, walking routes, a car park and picnic areas. There is also a wealth of historical interest.

The visitor centre is currently closed and we ask all visitors to comply with social distancing guidelines set by the government at the time of their visit.
