Devon’s OAIP frameworks
In Devon we want children and young people with SEND to attend their local school or setting, in line with their and their parents’ wishes.
Two new frameworks have been developed to support schools and settings to reflect and develop their inclusive provision to benefit all children and young people in a school or setting, including those with SEND
Underpinning the framework are key principles for inclusive education and practice, a graduated approach to help remove barriers to learning and an alignment with headteacher and teacher standards.

Coming soon – the expected additional (targeted) provision which is ordinarily available in mainstream schools for children and young people who may have additional needs, including special educational needs.
