End of key stage assessment support
Below are a number of materials that we choose to use to help us with statutory moderation of English at the end of KS1 and 2. Teachers may wish to make use of these to support their own teacher assessment process but there is absolutely no requirement or expectation they do so.
End of KS1 criteria moderation form
This is the document that is used to moderate judgements at the end of KS1.
End of KS2 criteria moderation form
This document contains the statutory criteria for the end of KS2 teacher assessment.
KS1 crib sheet
We use this KS1 crib sheet to save us from having to get out our national curriculum to look up words, spelling patterns or anything else.
KS2 crib sheet
We use this KS2 crib sheet to save ourselves from having to find our national curriculum to check on statutory words, ways of creating cohesion.
2016-19 KS1 Reading standards questions
Questions from previous years’ tests have been cross-referenced with end of key stage 1 standards in order to support teachers with making final judgements, and in moderation.
