We are currently developing two new projects: a Summer Cookery School to address dietary needs of children/families who are dependent on school meals which are not available during the summer holidays, and education about nutrition, preparing food, cooking, etc.

The second is a scheme to collect surplus fruits and other foods from parks, gardens, fields in the city and redistributing this through to community groups which address poverty related to welfare changes.

We are able to access ongoing supplies of good free food for both these and in the future they should be sustainable with stronger voluntary support.
