The decision has been taken on the basis of an analysis of the contract Utilisation and quality suspensions for the contract to date. The contract will extend at 6 of the 9 care homes for a further 5 months.

Options were considered to extend the contract at the previous volume or to terminate the contract. The decision was based upon the contracts utilisation figures.
