Decision to award the contract for CP2300-22 Contract for the Transportation and Treatment of Organic Sweepings Waste following a Find a Tender Service (FTS) advertised tender process.
Decision Taken:
To award Lot 1 – Contract for the Transportation and Treatment of Organic Sweepings Waste from the District Councils of East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Torridge and West Devon and Lot 2 – Contract for the transportation and Treatment of Organic Sweepings Waste from Teignbridge District Council to the below organisations. The contract will commence on 1st April 2024 for a period of 60 months.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The decision has been taken on the basis of the contractors achieving the highest overall scores for the maximum number of permitted appointees per Lot and sub-lot combination within a best value tender (optimum combination of price and quality) in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

A competitive process was undertaken from which two bids were received. These were considered as part of the formal evaluation process
