The decision has been taken on the basis of an analysis of the contract Utilisation to extend the contract for 6 months. The contract will reduce block beds from 21 beds across 9 provisions down to 1 bed at each of the provisions (9 in total).

Options were considered to extend the contract at the previous volume or to terminate the contract. Decision was based upon the SLT report Respite Block contracts MASTER.
