Completion of an options appraisal showing that extending this framework for a period of 12 months as from 1st March 2017was the most suitable option at this stage.
An options appraisal was completed considering the following options for this framework:
- Devon County Council to carry out a tendering process to set up a new DSCB training framework
- Extend the current DSCB training framework by 12 months
- Sign up to use an already established contract or framework
- Carry out a separate tender process each time there is a new training requirement
- Allow the framework to expire
There is no conflict of interest in extending this framework for a period of 12 months as from 1st March 2017.
