Summary of Matter or Issue Requiring Decision:
Decision to award the contract for CP2220-22 Future Farming Resilience following a Framework Call Off (DCC Business Support Framework 2020 CP1787-19) process.
Decision Taken:
To award a contract to the below organization for the provision of the above contract to Business Information Point (BIP) and Cosmic Consortium. The contract will commence on 1st October 2022, for the period of 29 Months, until 1st March 2025.

For this call-off BIP will be the lead provider within this Consortium and will be the organisation providing the support to the other providers that we are procuring separately.
Cosmic will be sub-contracted to carry out some of the digital workshops and 121s on behalf of BIP.
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier being an integral part of the previous phases and being named as a named partner in the Grant application to DEFRA. The knowledge and experience that the organisation possesses ensures the best value for money for DCC.
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
The options to go out to open tender or run a mini competition from the Business Support Framework was considered but were dismissed due to both the lack of continuity of service and also the additional set-up costs required to recreate the marketing and infrastructure to carry out this upscaled project.
