Decision to award the contract for CP1179-15 – Fab Lab Devon
Schools & Community Support Programme, following a domestic
tender process.
Decision Taken:
To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below
organisation(s) for the provision of the above contract. The contract
will commence in September 2015, for the period of 12 Months, with
an option to extend for a further 1×12 months, subject to additional
funding.
Plymouth College of Art, Tavistock Place, Plymouth PL4 8AT
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the
highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination
of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement
Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous
Tender (MEAT).
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
A competitive process was undertaken from which three bids were
received these were considered as part of the formal evaluation
process.
