To award the contract under NEC3 (Engineering and Construction Contract 2013) conditions to:
Kier Construction Ltd (Western),
Hawthorn House,
Emperor Way,
Exeter Business Park, Exeter,
EX1 3QS.
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
Kier Construction were appointed as the preferred contractor following a two stage procurement process and provided a compliant and acceptable tender figure, following an open book approach.
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
A two stage competitive “mini-competition” process was undertaken with 3 contractors. Kier Construction was selected as preferred contractor following formal evaluation.
