Several iterations of the Regional Evidence Base have taken place, with input from Board Members in advance of the final draft.

The Regional Evidence Base is a requirement of the major road network submission guidance. Not submitting a Regional Evidence Base would likely have negatively impacted on chances of securing major road network funding through the Government’s National Roads Fund pot
