The Government require Local Planning Authorities to review their Validation Checklists every two years. Devon County Council’s current validation checklist was adopted in November 2017 and was therefore due an update.

The Validation Checklist has been updated so that it reflects new and updated planning legislation, policies and guidance. The draft checklist has also been out to consultation and we have reviewed any comments that were submitted and has also actioned them if appropriate.
