Introduction of 15 year lease for existing leaseholders of Kingsteignton Pool to extend the existing terms to 2042.
Decision Taken:
To agree to 15 term lease on existing terms.
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The pool provides both employment and voluntary opportunities in the area as well as supporting local adults and children with swimming lessons, supporting key Council objectives regarding children and health.
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
DCC would be required to find an alternative provider or remove the facility.
