Decision Taken:
To declare the site (land adjacent to Wood’s Farm, Bowd, Sidmouth, EX10 0AX (0.67 acres excluding HMPE land)) surplus and dispose.
Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
This site is no longer required by DCC’s Waste Services. The site was formally used as a recycling centre and was replaced some time ago by a new larger recycling centre in the vicinity.
This disposal will forego an ongoing maintenance liability to DCC.
Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:
To retain the land and maintain at DCC expense.
