Audiology

Paediatric Audiology Services provide support for children with hearing difficulties, from newborn to adulthood.


Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD)

Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) provides integrated care and treatment for both physical and mental health for children, young people and their families in Devon.

Ear, nose and throat (ENT) departments

ENT teams look after children and adults with ear, nose and throat conditions.


Hearing (cochlear) Implants Team

The West of England Hearing Implant Programme (WEHIP) is the regional centre for the South West, providing implants for children and adults, who remain under the care of the programme for life.


Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that deals with eye disorders. There are Ophthalmology services teams based at all the major hospitals in Devon.


Social Care

Re/Habilitation Officer for Visually Impaired Children (ROVIC) service

The ROVIC service is a county-wide team supporting children and young people from birth to 18 years who have visual, dual sensory (vision and hearing impairment), deafblind and multi-sensory impairments.

The Sensory and physical needs SEN team offer teaching, support, advice, early help and interventions for children and young people from 0-25, where a visual, hearing or multi-sensory impairment is having an impact on their ability to access education.
