• Oversubscription Criteria 2019-20
  1. Looked After Children or previously Looked After Children who are on the eligible list.
  2. Children on the eligible list who are entitled to Pupil Premium funding at the time of the test, or who are from families entitled to claim free school meals at the time of the test. Parent’s consent to the school seeking confirmation of Pupil Premium eligibility from the child’s primary school will be sought on the online supplementary information form. For those students not entitled to Pupil Premium funding at the time of the test but who are from families entitled to claim free school meals at the time of the test, evidence of eligibility will be required e.g. from the Devon Citizens Portal website.
  3. Children of staff with a contracted commitment (i.e. not casual or supply staff) in either or both of the following circumstances: (i) where the member of staff has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made, and/or (ii) the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

  Rank order based on the total score achieved in the tests of students on the eligible list.

  1. Looked After Children or previously looked After Children who are on the eligible list.
  2. Children on the eligible list who are entitled to pupil premium, including the service premium. Parents/guardians will be required to provide evidence of eligibility and the school may request confirmation from the applicant’s home local authority. Children given priority under this criterion fall into the following categories: a. children currently registered as eligible for free school meals and children who have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years; and b. children whose parent(s) are serving in the regular UK armed forces, to the children of regular armed forces personnel who were serving in the past 3 years, or to children who are in receipt of a pension under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and the War Pensions Scheme because their parent(s) died on active service with the UK armed forces.
  3. Rank order based on the total score achieved in the tests of children on the eligible list.
