Working together to tackle drainage and flooding issues

Tackling flooding with self help funds

The parish of Colyton is active in trying to address their own ongoing drainage and flooding issues. They have joined together with Southleigh, Northleigh and Farway and successfully bid for Town and Parish (TAP) funding to help them tackle drainage problems in their parishes, regularly caused by heavy rain. The project is being headed up by local Councillor Ken Clifford who is pulling together the requirements and engaging with landowners and contractors.
