Deaths from all causes

This dataset shows the number of registrations per week for deaths from all causes. The numbers can be affected by Bank Holidays when fewer registrations take place.

For upper-tier local authorities a lower and upper range is included for weekly deaths which highlights the expected range for weekly deaths in the area. If weekly deaths fall outside the range it highlights that they are significantly higher or lower than expected.
