Equipment training
We run a diverse programme of equipment training for Devon staff.
New equipment prescribers in Devon can book a place on ‘Equipment Awareness’ training to get your Millbrook PIN and learn more about Care Act Eligibility and the equipment process. For hands on equipment training book onto ‘Assessment and Fitting of DILIS Equipment’ These sessions are also a good refresher for experienced prescribers. Pressure Ulcer Prevention training is high priority for all Devon teams and our county wide training courses help you to identify risk and take action to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers with practical interventions. See Millflow for the up to date brochure and booking information
Advanced Equipment training sessions are a great way for experienced Devon teams to develop their assessment and problem solving skills for complex needs. Advice and reference for Devon staff
Devon staff can contact us to discuss equipment conundrums and we can arrange joint visits with you to help identify a complex equipment solution.
