Apprenticeships offer the perfect gateway to working in care and health, or to help advance your career. Apprenticeships combine study, training and practical experience. You get to work alongside experienced staff, gain job specific qualifications and also earn a wage.
Your training will be organised by the employer and course provider. This may be done in a school, college or at a training centre. An adviser will support you and provide regular feedback throughout your apprenticeship. You will also complete a qualification in functional English and Maths if you haven’t done so already.
