A consultation is taking place for a potential permit scheme for traffic management.  Here you will find information about the introduction of a Streetworks permitting scheme in Devon.

  • Preliminary Consultation

    We will holding information road shows in May and June 2019.  Register your interest in these sessions and we will contact you with full details nearer the time.

    The preliminary consultation phase is planned to run from May – July 2019. This is an informal stage where you can offer your thoughts to help mould the scheme criteria. Devon are happy for everyone to engage and give their view. The informal workshops have been initially targeted towards works promoters on the highway. However, if you wish to ask a question or feedback to us, please email us on permitscheme-mailbox@devon.gov.uk.

  • Formal TRO Consultation

    The formal Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultation takes place during September and October 2019.

  • Implementation of permit scheme

    Following the consultation, the scheme is planned to go live in January 2020.
