You can buy a single ticket (one way) for any train journey. Prices start from around £1 for short journeys, and range up to £10 for longer off-peak journeys in Devon.
If you are coming back the same day, it’s cheaper to buy a cheap day return ticket. Cheap day returns are normally available after 0845 Monday to Friday and at any time during weekends for most journeys in Devon.
If you are travelling together as a family or a group, a groupsave ticket allows groups of 3 to 9 people travelling together to a 1/3 discount when using First Great Western services.
Prices will vary depending on how far you travel and when you travel. Tickets can be purchased from staffed stations, from the conductor on the train when boarding at an unstaffed station, or in advance online. Please note ticket prices are up to date as of September 2015 but may be subject to change.

Entitles passenger to: Unlimited off-peak travel on all rail services in Devon and Cornwall (as far as Axminster and Tiverton Parkway) for either any 3 days within a 7 day period, or any 8 days in a 15 day period. Freedom Of South West Rover

PLUSBUS Ticket
Entitles passenger to: If you are making a train journey and then need to catch a bus to your destination you may be able to buy a PLUSBUS ticket.
