Early years and childcare are responsible for making sure that high-quality early years, childcare and children centre provision is available and accessible to all families with young children. It’s a vitally important service and needs high-quality staff at all levels.
The service supports the sector with information on safeguarding, finance, sustainability, childcare funding, recruitment and retention of staff. It also provides training to the frontline practitioners, childcare in schools and much more.
Roles within early years and childcare include:
- administration and helpdesk
- data analysts
- early years and childcare advisers
- children’s centre advisors
- research and evaluators.
