Children’s Centres

Children’s centres support families with young children, from pregnancy up to age five.

They offer a wide range of family health and support services as well as lots of fun parent and toddler activities to encourage families to meet, play and learn together.

Early Help is also on offer through children’s centres to any parent with a child aged eight years and under. To access Early Help just search for your local children’s centre on Pinpoint Devon and use the referral form on their website or you can speak to someone else who is already supporting you and your family and they can refer you.

Register at your local children’s centre

Anyone who cares for a child under five who lives in Devon (including dads, mums, grandparents, childminders, carers and parents-to-be) can register, it’s really easy!

Just call in to your local children’s centre to complete a form, or contact them and they can post one to you.  You can also ask your midwife or health visitor for a registration form.

If you are concerned that a child is being abused please call
