Youth Services

Devon’s youth services are run by Space*, an independent not-for-profit social enterprise focused on delivering the best services for young people in our communities.

They offer a universal, open-access service from 8 youth centres across the county, where young people can freely come and go to meet and take part in activities that are designed to help them try new things, develop skills and reach their full potential. Each centre is different but they are all staffed by experienced youth workers. They open at different times, when you need them – after school/college/work, in the evenings and at weekends.

Services include:

  • support, advice and information on the things that affect you
  • challenging accreditation and awards
  • physical activities
  • cooking
  • gaming
  • music and recording services for young bands
  • volunteering opportunities
  • a safe, chilled space to meet up with your friends
  • individual one-to-one targeted support on a referral basis.
