What’s in the Children and Young People’s Plan?

The Children and Young People’s Plan 2019- 2023 sets clear priorities for action in each main area of our activity, backed by specific plans and strategies.

Some of the priorities are about supporting children with additional needs and their families.

The Life Chances section sets out how we will help all children in Devon achieve their potential with opportunities to thrive. This includes improving our Special Educational Needs (SEND) offer.

We want to help children in Devon be healthy and well, and our priorities in this area include improving speech and language services and early support for autism. Care leavers link
