Our nationally accredited Family Group Conference Service has been established for several years and we have recently expanded to build on the work we can offer when working directly with families.
The Way We Talk
Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic and social isolation has resulted in increased trauma on children/young people and their families with negative psychological effects including confusion, anger and symptoms of post-traumatic stress.
Children in Care
Children and young people under 18 years old who do not live with their parents or family are known as 'looked after children' or 'children in care'. Devon County Council has legal responsibility for these children as a 'corporate parent'.
Adoption
Adopt South West aims to find safe, secure, permanent homes for children who are unable to live with their birth families

Youth Offending Service

Youth Enquiry Service
Young Devon run Youth Enquiry Service (YES) centres across Devon. They offer young people free and confidential advice and support on everything from housing, welfare and travel to getting into work or training, relationships, alcohol and drugs and health and wellbeing.
